Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Toot, provided by Code Mates for AI Applications and Services Co. L.L.C (AlSaqr Business Tower, Office 1310, DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Toot.

The service

Toot is a personal finance tool for tracking money, budgeting, setting goals, planning debt payoff, tracking travel and layover spending, and getting AI-generated guidance. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.

Not professional advice

Toot provides general information and tools only. Nothing in the app — including AI replies, market data, credit card suggestions, and projections — is financial, investment, tax, legal, or religious advice. AI output can be wrong or out of date. Market data and exchange rates may be delayed or indicative. Make important decisions with a qualified professional, and verify figures yourself.

Subscription and billing

• Access requires a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay.
• If a free trial is offered, you can cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged. Otherwise your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Settings → Manage Subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires, or where we say otherwise at the time of purchase. Contact us if something went wrong with a charge.
• We may change prices with advance notice; the new price applies from your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful activity, attempting to access other people’s data, probing or disrupting our systems, scraping or reselling the service, or automated use that places unreasonable load on it.

Your data

You own the information you enter. You give us permission to process it to run the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time, and you can ask us for a copy of your data.

Third-party services

The service relies on providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Anthropic, Google, and Apple. Their availability and terms are outside our control. If you connect your email, you authorise read-only access for the import feature, which you can revoke at any time.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Toot available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and we may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and Code Mates for AI Applications and Services Co. L.L.C is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions made using the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the courts of Dubai. We may update them; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@codemates.ae.
